A Computer Centre supported by Dubai Kannur Muslim Jama-ath Committee has been successfully functioning with the aim of providing computer knowledge to the poor on a concession rate.

Kannur Muslim Jamaat in collaboration with Ernakulam Avodha Group started a new computer institute called KMJ -Avodha Computer Learning Centre. The computer centre was inaugurated by Hon. Kannur Corporation Mayor, Adv. T.O. Mohanan. The center was started as a golden opportunity to study various computer courses which offer a lot of job opportunities at exorbitant fees.

Computer is playing vital role in modern life. Computer education has great importance because use of computer has reached almost all spheres of life. The modern life of today includes information and contacts with people all over the world. Computer has helped considerably to achieve this.
